Our home away from home in Kashgar

Jane and I had double espresso every morning here, along with great yogurt and other goodies. They also have a Swedish pastry chef, so there were great quiches and "apple pie", too.

Caravan Cafe also runs tours and organized ours. Greg Kopan is a musicologist who came to study Uigher music, and then stayed to get into the tourism business. There were groups of Germans and Australians staying in the same hotel with us.
