International Bazar in Urumchi - shopping for tourists area. Also had a KFC!

We had time to kill before our early evening flight and was brought here. It's a fake looking mosque which is really a pedestrian area with shops, an underground Carrefor (Wall-mart/K-Mart type of store), and a local department store. They are quite aggressive in trying to sell things to foreigners, but have practially no English. The prices for jade items are quite high, although we all bargained quite a bit. We enjoyed the department store as we were looking through scarves and shawls Uigher women shopkeepers. They seemed very gentle and weren't pushy.
